A sanctuary in the middle of Denpasar. Experience a unique stay in a local neighbourhood — the real Balinese life and culture.
Canang Sari is a locally owned homestay and cultural experience space located in the heart of Denpasar, Bali. Built within a traditional Balinese family compound, our homes are shaped by the rhythms of everyday life — morning offerings, shared kitchens, family gatherings, and the quiet routines that make a place feel lived in.
What began as a family home slowly grew into a space where we could welcome people from around the world and share a more personal side of Bali. Rather than creating a separate tourist experience, we chose to open the doors to the environment we know best: our home, our neighborhood, and the traditions we grew up with.
At Canang Sari, we hope guests leave not only with memories of Bali, but with a feeling of connection to the people, stories, and everyday moments behind it.
